Nicola McClure is a British writer of children's picture books.  She is also a teacher, a scientist and the founder of Rocking Rugrats music and movement classes for kids.

Nicola's adventures have taken her around the globe; living and working from Brazil to South Korea (with some icy Russian winters and dry Middle Eastern deserts in between!)  She currently lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and their three young children.  When not writing, singing silly songs or reading books, Nicola takes care of the children.  Luckily these things can often occur simultaneously.  She also eats ice-cream.  Lots of ice-cream.
